I took some unwaxed (that's important here) floss and cleaned out around the bezel. Obviously these are two different implementations of a rotating bezel but it may be worth a shot.

My beloved 1998 Submariner has an extremely tight bezel. It's been a gradual thing, one I didn't even notice because I rarely use the bezel for timing or counting down to an event. But it's gotten to the point now that I literally have to take the watch off my wrist to turn it.
